The Mystery Behind the AI Called Elixir

Back in February of this year, a Twitter user surfaced called “predictionmonk,” claiming that he or she had gone off the grid for three years to develop an Artificial Intelligence called Elixir that can reliably track and predict the global stock market. Usually, any prediction like this that is made on social media should be taken with a grain of salt.

This time is no different.

Still, his or her claims bear mentioning for a specific reason. The Blockchain industry is not the only emergent space in which people are trying to make quick money off of others, with little real work to offer in exchange. In the case of this particular Twitter user, it is almost impossible to verify what he or she has or has not created, due to everything being locked behind a Patreon paywall.

Given the prevalence of pump and dump groups in the Crypto space, it should be made clear that at face value, this is a similar situation. In both cases, a user promises a reliable way to invest in many different stocks, using a resource that cannot be accessed without becoming a paying member.

At this point, there is no public, verifiable information on the technical specifications of this particular AI.

Therefore, until we are able to verify whether or not there is any substance to this person’s claims, it would be wise for anyone who is interested to wait for an external audit of sorts on the subject.

Even so, it should be made clear that if “predictionmonk” reads this, we are happy to look at any technical information on Elixir that he or she is willing to give us.
